The Paper & Board Division operates as part of Mirpurkhas Sugar Mills Ltd. Incorporated in 2022.
This division specializes in the production and marketing of container board, utilizing recycled waste paper, virgin wood pulp, and non-wood pulp. The division boasts a designed production capacity of 250 metric tons of paper per day. The plant operates at a production speed of 300 to 350 meters per minute.

OPERATIONS
MSM (Paper & Board Division) is a premier manufacturer of high-quality paper and paperboard for corrugated packaging, with a total installed capacity of 90,000 MT tons per annum.
The plant is equipped to produce a variety of Liner and medium paper in diverse qualities, catering to the comprehensive needs of the corrugated packaging industry. Utilizing a state-of-the-art Distributed Control System (DCS), the facility ensures automated plant operations with enhanced process safety and improved production efficiency. The large deckle size (4,600mm) enables the production of reels in a wide range of sizes, meeting the varied requirements of corrugated box manufacturers.
Our product mix includes a broad range of multi-ply Kraft Liner, Test Liner, and Fluting Paper, available in external and internal sizing (water Proofing)). These Kraft and Test Liners are designed to meet the robust packaging demands of both domestic and export markets, including specialized applications like corrugated packaging for fruit exports. Additionally, the facility produces wrapping paper for diverse packaging needs and White Test Liner for specialized industrial uses
Given the continuous nature of paper and paperboard manufacturing, the plant requires an uninterrupted supply of electricity and steam. This demand is met through using turbine, Boiler and WAPDA.

PRODUCTS
MSM manufactures a diverse range of Kraft and Test Liner papers in both white and brown shades, available in various grades ranging from 110 to 200 GSM.
We specialize in value-added products, including low GSM fluting paper and internally sized Kraft and fluting papers, designed to meet specific customer requirements.
Our “Prime Quality” Kraft Liner is produced using 100% virgin pulp on the top layer, ensuring superior burst strength and durability. With a monthly production capacity of approximately 7,500 metric tons and a machine deckle size of 4,600 mm, we are equipped to provide rewinding options for 1, 2, 3, or 4 cuts.
