The Company secured Third position in Best Corporate and Sustainability Report Award in the cement sector for 2018, jointly organized by Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan.

The Company secured first position in Best Corporate and Sustainability Report Award in the cement and sugar sector for two consecutive years i.e. 2017 and 2016 jointly organized by Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. Formerly, the Company secured second position in 2015 and 2014.

In recognition of Cherat Cement’s endeavour for transparency in corporate reporting, the annual reports of the Company for the year 2017 and 2014 were nominated in the SAARC Anniversary Awards for Corporate Governance Disclosures Award 2017 and 2014. Latest event was held in Pune, India in January, 2019. The Company was awarded certificate of merit for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability & Governance in Corporate Governance Disclosures for the Annual Report of 2017 and 2014.

Cherat Cement’s outstanding performance was also recognized by the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the Company was awarded the Top Companies Award for the year 2014. The ceremony was held in Karachi in September 2016.

In 2006, Cherat Cement Company Limited was recognized by Forbes Asia Magazine as one of Asia’s 200 “Best Under a Billion”. The award recognizes 200 Asia-Pacific public companies with less than $1 billion in revenue and consistent top- and bottom-line growth.
